UPSKILL EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVE (UEI)

Upskill Educational Initiative is a Not-for-Profit Organization, established to provide a program of education, research and training that will inculcate in teachers, learner-centeredness, teacher identity, service to the teaching profession and the community.
This initiative is to proffer solutions to address the identified gap in teacher quality and quantity evident by the apparent disconnection between acquired skill and knowledge and the competences needed in the job market and the sheer number of teachers required to meet the needs of the growing young population in Nigeria. 

Therefore, we are continuously improving learning outcomes in our schools by developing educational programs, school leadership and management training and support that will:N

Launch educators on a lifelong learning path.

Equip prospective teachers with necessary pedagogic and professional skills to be effective teachers.

Help teachers develop self-confidence and a proper attitude towards the teaching profession.

Prepare teachers for the essential prerequisites in meeting the challenges of the 21st-century classroom with strong emphasis on research and technology.
