Mrs. Christy Onabu is a highly experienced professional, skilled in Business Entrepreneurship, Process Improvement, Stakeholders’ Engagement, Leadership, and the Downstream Oil & Gas Sector operations.
She is a Certified Leader & Instructor with Napoleon Hill Foundation with proven leadership skills in managing, developing & motivating teams to achieve, exceed & expand targets. She is dedicated to maintaining high quality standards in service delivery & customer satisfaction. She has led numerous teams on various assignments; notably she led a team that saved her Corporation (NNPC) about $90 million between 2016 and 2017.
She is currently the Executive Director Crude & Products, NNPC Shipping & Logiscts Ltd (NSL), an NNPC Subsidiary responsible for Coastal and International Shipping. At NSL, Mrs. Onabu leads a very dynamic team in Nigeria and the United Kingdom that focuses on the overall growth and performance of the NSL & NIDAS brand and delivering excellent value to its stakeholders. Prior to her current role, she was the Managing Director NIDAS group, Manager Planning & Budget Monitoring in the Renewable Energy Division of the NNPC where she coordinated planning activities around the implementation of multi-million Dollars pioneer biofuel and bioethanol projects.
